ABOUT EFFIE
Working in magazine publishing, ad agencies, and photography studios most of my life, I had developed an eye for aesthetics, an attention to detail, and the organizational know-how that’s a must in the industry. But when I picked up the camera myself, I knew this was what I was meant to do! I decided to follow my heart and try my hand at what I always considered my dream job: Photography. And guess what? It worked!
A busy work schedule is a small price to pay when you have found your purpose, so you won't hear me complain about long hours, traffic jams, red-eye flights, or all-nighters.
Having worked with so many beautiful humans, I've witnessed how fragile and fleeting our best moments can be. This also taught me there is no room for stalemates, gender games or marginalized voices. Our lives and loves deserve to be bottled up and kept safe.
My home is where my art is, but my most special nook around it, is where my husband and two sons' hearts beat.
It’s been a long time since then and there is now a whole team of dedicated professionals around me, but I still feel grateful for finding the strength and trusting my gut in that moment. I honestly feel blessed to be able to call my passion an international career!
My photography style is often described as moment driven, editorial, and light-hearted. I am a visual optimist, and an optimist in life.
